“The Cross has the final Word.”
“Sorrow may come in the darkest night, but the cross has the final Word.”
This song might seem SO simple, but it is SO powerful.
I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again. We (as believers) HAVE to realize the significance of the CROSS and what took place in the moment that OUR SAVIOR declared “it is finished!” [John 19:30]
My Bible says that [1 Peter 2:24] “He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right! You have been healed by his wounds!”
Sis, It was FINISHED on the cross. Victory was won there. Sickness and illness? Defeated there! WE were made right, right there on the cross. Hundreds of years ago, the battle was forever and eternally won! Our Savior defeated satan, conquered the grave and DEATH! There is nothing greater, nor can anything stand against the name of Jesus! EVERYTHING must bow to that great name! Because of the cross, we can rest assured in this.
“There’s nothing stronger
There’s nothing greater than the name of Jesus”
Sis, We will all face some periods of hardships in this life.
BUT, we can always remain confident in our Father & the great victory that was won on the Cross! Nothing can separate us from the love of our Father. He proved it when He sent his perfect, blameless Son as a sacrifice for you + I.
God’s Agape love STILL stands. Romans 9:35 says “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love?” Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry or cold or in danger or are threatened with death?” Verse 37 says, “NO, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”
Victory over infertility.
Victory over brokenness.
Victory over hurt.
Victory over pain.
Victory over jealousy.
Victory over envy.
Victory over barrenness.
Victory over (insert your word here.)
“The cross has the final word
Evil may put up its strongest fight
But the cross has the final Word”
Let this be a reminder of what took place on that Cross, and what it meant for you! Renew your joy in this simple fact sis: “The Cross has the final Word.”
